It's also the name for the dominant bull elk in a herd. The previous owner of the farm where Elk Heights now stands shot the largest known elk in Alaska; that's the elk on the bottle. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe bees.\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe vodka itself starts with a 100% corn base distilled to grain-neutral, leaving a clean canvas with no flavor character of its own. We then finish it with 2% of our own honey — and because there's nothing underneath to fight with, what comes through in the glass is the honey itself. Our bees are Carniolan-Italian hybrid colonies kept in Kittitas County, foraging primarily on alfalfa.
